Handcrafted in India · Heirloom brass & bronze

Our Story
From a Jaipur workshop to your home.
The Gilded Haveli began with a single brass urli, carried home from Jaipur, and the slow realization that the most beautiful thing in the house had come from a workshop almost no one had heard of.
The Beginning
The most beautiful things in our grandparents' homes were the ones you couldn't simply buy.
We're Pratik and Baishali, a husband-and-wife team who grew up around the quiet luxury of Indian handmade metalware. The brass pitcher by the door, the bronze bowl that held water for the birds, the row of oil-lit diyas that turned the courtyard gold at dusk.
When we went looking for pieces like these to live with, we found two extremes: mass-produced and hollow, or wildly expensive and treated like museum pieces. Nothing in between felt like the real, handmade thing, so we decided to make it ourselves.
Today we work directly with family workshops across India, choose each design by hand, and bring these pieces to homes far beyond the places they're made.
What We Believe
How we make things, and why.
Slow over fast
Made by people, not machines.
Every piece is sand-cast or hand-spun. No die-stamping, no electroplating, no shortcuts. It takes longer, and it shows.
The name
Why "The Gilded Haveli."
A haveli is a traditional Indian mansion, built around warmth, light and craft. Gilded is the golden glow of the brass and bronze we work with.
Respect for the maker
Fair, direct, personal.
We work with the same family workshops year after year. Fair relationships, real names, no middlemen.
Made by hand. Meant to be kept.
